Q: Do I dilute the concentrate before adding to the detergent reservoir of my pressure washer or do I use full strength?

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Cliffyjr. For our pressure washer concentrates, we typically suggest a 1:20 dilution when used to clean manually. Based on what we’ve seen from most pressure washers, they typically automatically dilute as they pull soap from the soap tank/reservoir and water during operation at dilutions between 1:15 to 1:20. Given this, you should pour our cleaner into the soap tank/reservoir at full strength. It is also a good idea to check the instruction manual for their pressure washer to verify their equipment dilutes automatically at these suggested dilution ratio ranges. Happy Cleaning!

A: Yes, this is a concentrate. We recommend applying a 1:10 dilution to the surface for heavy cleaning and a 1:20 to the surface for light cleaning.

Q: Can this product be used on painted concrete, like on a painted balcony floor, without harming the paint?

A: Thanks for your inquiry, SandraDee. Simple Green Concrete & Pavement Cleaner Pressure Washer Detergent shouldn’t harm painted concrete. I'd be more concerned about using your pressure washer on painted concrete, as it is often used to remove paint. To counter this, make sure the pressure used isn't too high. If you decide to use the cleaner manually, I'd recommend a 1:20 cleaner to water ratio when cleaning this type of concrete surface. Happy Cleaning!

Q: what is the best product to use to remove transmison fluid from asphalt

A: Simple Green Driveway & Concrete Cleaner Pressure Washer Cleaner has special grease and oil lifting capabilities which make it ideal for removing transmission fluid when used in conjunction with a pressure washer. In the event that you do not have a pressure washer, these same grease and oil lifting properties can be found in Simple Green Max (39-0465) which can be sprayed directly on the surface followed by a rinse with clean water.
