It’s winter! So I have not used this item yet.

Got this lovely item on the clearance desk. It was returned and had parts missing. Because of the price and that the major parts where still with it, I bought it. Tested it in the store and cheerfully took it home. She’s beefy ( heavy) grindy (yay) and gives a small kick like a grinder. I can’t wait to test it in the spring when it’s time to wash my vehicles and protect the paint. But overall I am happy with my purchase.

Great if you know what you're doing

The polisher and accessories don't come with instructions, so be careful and ensure you know what you're doing. I burned through my car's paint by using the foam pad as opposed to another attachment. However, this did a great job at restoring headlights with some rubbing compound, on the lowest setting. I would also recommend that this be used for larger jobs, as it becomes difficult when the work area is small (such as a fender). It can still work, but it's quite heavy so you need to be very careful. Below is a partially restored headlight I did using this tool on the lowest speed. Great results.

This polisher is a great product for the weekend warrior like myself. I love working on my vehicle's myself, and getting my car polished was something that I've always wanted to do. This is something that I couldn't justify paying for as I knew that I was capable of doing it myself, however I did not have the proper tools to do the job. Being given the opportunity to test this polisher was a great surprise, I had no experience using a power polisher, watched a few how to videos, and went to work. The results were better than I expected for a first timer. The provided polish pads are really nice and felt like good quality. I only used the final polish pad as my cars paint was not it too bad of shape. I'm looking forward to doing my car again next year.

Amazing tool for a variety of polishing/sanding

This is a great product for those that want to do any kind of car repair/polishing and cement sanding. I used this polisher to remove some scratches from my BMW after it was swiped. The tool worked great and the large 7" pad and adjustable speed helped a nubie like me not damage the clear coat while polishing. Polishing the whole car was easy and relatively quick due to pad size. My main tip to anyone doing this is to make sure everything is super clean to not create any new scratches. This polisher also worked great on cement with diamond sanding pads but I did have to add water manual with a hose. This was really the only downside to this polisher(no water way). The polisher is also a bit on the larger side for a tool but this does give you good control as 7" pads can tend to pull. Overall this is a great product I would recommend to anyone. Great job Simoniz for including extra brushes for the motor!!!
