Poor results

Just cleaned my car mats using this product. Got mats cleaner with soap and water. After cleaning mats sprayed on product. Still not very clean. Instructions say let it dry without wiping first a glossy finish. Tried it. Left white particle residue on mat and mats needed to be cleaned again. Maybe it is a protectoran. Don’t know. Don’t buy. Use soap/Comet cleanser for better results.

Meh and bottle leaks like crazy

The bottle pukes product every time you spray the nozzle and if that wasn’t enough, it really doesn’t do much once on clean mats. I followed the directions, scrubbed and cleaned each mat and sprayed on but they don’t have the oomph I expected based on other reviews. Will try another brand next time.

WARNING ABOUT PRODUCTS

I purchased this product at Canadian TIre. The product number is 039–1 224–2. Before purchasing the product, I checked the reviews online and also discussed the product with an in store representative. The product was purchased to restore my car Mats. In proceeding with the product I followed the detailed instructions to ensure the rubber Mats would be a “matt” finish and not shiny texture! The Mats are now shiny and very slippery and unsafe to use while driving! This product does NOT do what it was intended to do! I reached out to the manufacturer for Simonize RecoChem via email and have not received any response! This has been a waste of time and money! NEVER purchase a Simonize product from Canadian Tire! There are superior product brands on the market that back their products!

No, I do not recommend this product.
