8"Polisher beware sand paper attachment

I would not even give this one star... The 80 grit sand paper that is to hold the polishing attachment is a joke.. One sticky spot in polishing and it came off scratching my vehicle. The unit also has a slow speed pickup which is aggravating. On top of that it is awkward and too heavy.. Returned to store, and now question if all Simoniz product use the same attachment... They must have some issue with Velcro.....

No, I do not recommend this product.

This is my 5th on I've bought and they are awesome! I do Metal polishing and everything else I use for grinders gets hot. These ones will stay cool all day even on hot days. They work great

Be Careful With The Sanding Pad!!!

Who ever thought it was a good idea to have the sanding pad attached to the polishing head out of the box should be fired!!!! Does Simoniz not realize people are buying this as a polisher not a sander! I am so lucky I used it on an antique toolbox instead of a $90k car to learn that a Sanding Disc came with the polisher AND didnt use it on my hood. INSANE!!!

STRAIGHT TO THE GARAGE

I never even plugged it in,..trying carefully to separate the foam pad from the Velcro backing, both surfaces peeled away from their glued surfaces. I no longer have the receipt, so straight into the garage it went. Just cheaply made junk. Don’t waste your money.

Great after wetsanding

I painted a car in non-metallic gloss black, probably the most unforgiving colour to paint. After wetsanding to remove orange peel and dust nibs, I used this with a quality polishing compound to bring the paint back to a mirror-like shine.
