Q: what causes wand to crack wen let off trigger.

A: Not sure i'm able to answer the question without knowing the detail. Under normal conditions, when the trigger on the gun is released, the pressure washer will be shut down automatically due to TSS (total stop system). It should not crack or damage the wand.
