I chose this product based on the fact it was on sale. Not too difficult to install, but some important steps should be followed. You need to polish (compound/polishers) before installing. Kit is complete with applicators, micro fiber/micro suede. Applied to Ford F150 and had some product left. Do not install if windy and pollen/debris in the air. Search installation videos, by the supplier.

I ve used other brands of this product and its not nearly as good as its competitors.

I bought this over a year ago. First off, this is not an easy-to-use product. You must not apply this in the sun, or it can flash (improperly cure too quick) to your vehicle. As well, proper surface prep, with a full paint correction, and prep with isopropyl alcohol, is essential. If you are willing to go through all this, it will reward you with a decent base layer of ceramic protection. I find it works really good on rims too. In the winter salt spray of Edmonton, you might get 6 months to a year out of it. For summer/garage-kept vehicles, your will get better results. However, this product is not for everyone. The Chemical Guys hydro-slick is way easier to apply, and is what I recommend for most people due to that fact alone. Much more forgiving. Same with the Meguire's ceramic wax, Mother's CMX, or Griot's 3-in-1 ceramic wax spray. Those products as well will perform better with a paint correction and surface prep, and are a great way to "learn" how to do ceramic with less risk. I would recommend this product to others, but only so long as they understand all this. If they are a beginner, or not willing to put the extra care and attention in, I would point them to a different product that is more forgiving.
