    Broken on me twice in 1 year and half

    I have bought two same brand vacuum, both broke on me(stop working), the first one I bought broken, then I sent to Canadian Tire customer service, then they repaired, but after a few month, it broke again. I bought another one thought the one I have bought maybe I was misfortune, but the second one broke on me in one month.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    Not bad for the price

    I bought this little vac to use for renovation dust so I didn't wreck my regular vacuum. It does a pretty good job and is easy to set up with a good whack to set the wheels into place. It's also quite light to lift. I only wish it had a longer cord. I'd suggest having an extension cord handy.

    Q: Can I reverse the suction? When vacuuming up a lot of water, am I able to empty the canister by blowing it out?

    • A: No, this unit does not have the ability to self empty the tank while vacuuming water. See model 54-0031 Shop-Vac 37.8L Pump-Vac for a unit with this feature, The 54-0031 will vacuum up water and pump the tank out at the same time by connecting a standard garden hose to the pump-out port of the unit.

    Q: Can a bigger hose be used with this model? I bought a Shop Vac specifically to vacuum up the hay in my rabbits' room, but it just got stuck in the hose. Can a hose with a bigger diameter be used with this model?

    • A: Yes, most Shop-Vac vacuums come with a 2-1/2 inch hose inlet fitting, I recommend considering the 54-0046 - 2-1/2” bulk pick-up kit with 8 foot Hose, wands and Utility nozzle.
