Excellent for fine dust and cleanup

If you have a lot of fine dust/dirt to clean up, this is the sort of filter you need for your ShopVac. With standard filters, a ShopVac will blow out the fine particles of all the dirt you think you're cleaning up. This catches just about everything. There is actually one higher than this - the HEPA-rated filter, but unless you need to filter at the biological level, this is enough for most jobs. It's easy to install and locks in place. Taking it out and cleaning it up is a bit messy, but then so is any other filter.

Time will tell

I got a Canadian tire pop up to review this filter so here I am. My last filter got water on it by accident which completely destroyed it, so thats a cautionary tale for this one. That said, I'm not sure what to say. It works as expected. I don't change them enough to know how much better or worse it is compared to other efficiency levels but my old one was a base level and foul smells came through, which is why I thought to go with higher quality. I don't know why they are so expensive in the first place other than cornered market pricing, but in any case I needed it, its not an everyday purchase, and I will just hope it keeps working for a long time if I don't abuse it. So not enough experience with it yet for anything bad or good to say.
