Gym Flooring - Ok but not Great

This flooring is expensive when not on sale. The problem with this product is that the color shading is not consistent between individual packages. I have bought four packages, two were closer to black than the other two which were closer to dark grey. The different color shading looks really poor when installed. I had to buy more than I needed hoping to match the rest. Also, the outside edges are slightly different shape from one package to the next and therefore do not perfectly connect with pieces from another package. Otherwise the flooring is easy to install and the pieces that are the same colour do blend well together.

Picked these up for my gym. Easy to put together. Provide excellent cushioning. The only downside for me was that they are somewhat slippery. I had hoped for something more similar to a yoga mat for grip. I would still recommend though and buy again.

A: Absolutely. However I would be careful to not do it too often as the connections may be come too loose. They are fantastic. I use them daily for my workouts.

A: If you have a large enough area covered with the interlocking foam squares, it should not shift unless you’re running and stopping on it like touch football.

Q: Will these work on a carpeted floor? Want something under the home gym machine that's easy to clean.

A: We do not recommend using the tiles on carpeted floors because many times the tiles do not sit evenly on carpet as opposed to hardwood floors. There are also traction issues on carpet vs hardwood floors.

Q: I am moving to the 10th floor in an apartment and I want to bring my treadmill. Will these tiles stop the vibration and lessen the noise of my treadmill in use?

A: This depends on the weight of your treadmill, however these tiles are 20mm thick, so they should lessen the noise.
