Picked this up after my son broke his rod while fishing. He has only used it a couple of times but it seems to be a good rod for the price we paid. Would highly recommend this rod for anyone new to the fishing game.

A great value rod

I have caught dozens of fish on this rod, and while it isn't super sensitive, it is durable (I fell into the lake with it the other day) and easy to use. I like the grip, and the overall feeling of quality is much better than you would think for a rod at this price. An incredible value for $30.
