The Sherwood Playrite Basic Hockey Protective Kit is ideal for outfitting youth players with basic on-ice protection. This hockey equipment kit includes gloves, shoulder pads, shin guards, elbow pads and hockey pants for comprehensive upper and lower body coverage. It protects youngsters from falls and other blows to the kneecaps, shins, calves, shoulders, chest, back and biceps. The individual pieces feature an inner liner for a comfortable fit.

Not accurate sizing

The size we bought was suppose to be for a 3-4yr old sizes are not accurate shoulders pads are a good size for a 6yr old pants a 5 yr old elbow pads appropriate for a 3-4 yr old the shin pads were the right fit but the bottom strap wouldn’t stay done up because they were to tight for a 3 yr old the bottom strap needs to be resigned.

A: To clarify, you need to look at the size chart in the carousel of images titled Playrite. Don't look at the one where it says "Size Chart" as that chart is for the CODE kit. System error. Sorry about that.

A: Unfortunately these kits are only in Youth sizing, so even the large likely wouldn't fit your child. We recommend trying junior equipment (Sherwood M65 series would likely work well). The kits aren't made in that size because as children grow the child almost always will need one of the pieces in a different size (e.g. different size shin pads than come in the kit).
