While assembling it the thing fell over and broke the support bars at the top. So now I have a pile of junk.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I’m short on spare time and still don’t have it assembled yet. The directions are horribly incomplete. It tells me how many of each piece is included but doesn’t have sufficient instruction or diagrams on how it goes together. I could have bought the lumber and built a shed by now for about the same money

No, I do not recommend this product.

Shelter works, but don't count on using it past one year.

I installed this shelter in October 2023. Worked well last winter and allowed my equine animals a dry place to eat in their pasture. Inspected the shelter closely October 2024 and there were several holes from being worn by the weather. Had to replace for this winter. Went to order just a replacement cover, but the price of the replacement cover was more expensive than buying the whole shelter as they were on sale. Regardless, the cover lasted one season and needed to be replaced. It needs to be much less expensive to replace the cover if it's only going to last a year.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought four of these for outdoor storage at the plant. They have been up now for ~5 years and for the price, am very happy with their performance. They went together pretty easily although we did stray a bit with the installation. For example, we poured concrete footings. We also made some modifications to the doorways to prevent wind from whipping into the tent. We framed up the back-end with 2x4s and put 'barn-style doors' on the front out of plywood. Maybe not the greatest permanent solution, but when compared to the cost of putting up a quonset hut, it served its purpose.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Some Very Dissappointing Moments

This shelter, if I can keep the snow off, will do exactly what I want done. BUT... yeah I am very disappointed in the very poor quality control in the processed used to punch or drill or whatever they did to make the bolt holes in the tube sections. Each and every tube required reshaping with a ball peen hammer, in sub freezing weather, due to the "dimpeling" of the hole in the make ends of tubes. These dimples, (ugh the puns here are just ripe), in these male ends were so large that the tubes would not slide into the female ends of adjacent tubes. This required reshaping the tube, that had to be done carefully to avoid turning a round tube into an oval one. The second issues was "flashing". Wherever there was an exit hole in a tube on the inside of a female end, there was so much flashing that again it took extensive hand work with a heavy rasp to grind it off. These parts were essentially re-manufactured by me in order to make them fit together. This added days to a project that should not have lasted a weekend. The aggravation levels were extreme, causing cursing, swearing and the wishing of an infestation of demons upon whoever does Quality Control at Shelter Logic. But it is finished. I did get it up on 18 inch high timber walls because I needed the extra height. And, for all my frustration I would recommend this product. But, the construction time is nearly double by having to deal with this. The photos attached are just exemplars. Most if not All the tubes had problems that required a lot of hand work to fix before assembly could be done.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    • Hard to see dimpleing but the flashing just made it worse.
    • Fuzzy, but the dimpleing is visible. Yes that is enough to prevent this end to seat in the female end of the next tube.
    • A more clear photo of typical dimpeling. The scaped paint is where I tried to force this into another tube, and failed.
    • Flashing on the inside of the female end of the tube requires extensive filing. Grinding wheel on a drill took longer, so I abandon that method.
    • The flashing was taller than that welded seem. Male end would NOT seat.
    • ugh... Just ugh... so frustrating. My hands go so cold, couldn't hold the file accurately enough with gloves on
