Nice light but terrible sticker

This was easy to install and looks great except for the giant yellow stick on the front that does not peel of easily. It took a heat gun, razor blade, goo gone and about 30minutes to remove the sticker and gunk. I almost returned it because of this. The light only took 10 minute to install. I would not buy this light again because of this.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is the GFCI outlet powered when the light is switched ON, or does it have constant power?

A: The GFCI outlet is only powered if the light switch controlling your outdoor light is turned on - if the switch is off, both the outlet and the light be off. During the daytime there is a light sensor so the lightbulb will not become lit, but if the light switch controlling the light is ON, the GFCI outlet will still be on. Once night comes around, if the light switch is still on, both the GFCI will be on and the light bulb will become lit. To test the bulb and to see if you’ve wired it correctly during the day, turn on the switch and cover the light sensor on top with your hand - if you’ve installed correctly then the bulb will turn on.

Q: Can a higher watt LED bulb be used?

A: Probably but the bulb it comes with is very bright. So much so that we changed the bulb to a lower watt and amber colour. It’s installed as a front door entry light.
