Sharp LED HD TV, 40-in

Bought this tv yesterday so far excellent in every way Easy setup for my husband connects easy to cable company easy converter setup with rogers . Lots of options to change colour and customize to each individual likes along with sound. Overall very pleased. Don't question the price being low or the tv not to your liking i did but it all looks great should not have worried

I bought this tv less than a month ago. Within two weeks of having it, the screen flashes and the pixelation and colour is completely distorted with breaks in the picture. Husband mistakenly got rid of the box, so we're out the money at this point. Very disappointed. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Happy camper so far . Not very many reviews out on the internet so far when I purchased it this morning . Good quality picture . Easy set up menu , has more setup options compared to our other 40 inch led 1080p insignia tv which has been a good tv too . Just have to see how long it lasts before any problems arrive fingers crossed and knocking on wood

This TV is one of Sharps new line of 22 TVs for 2017 according to the internet . Model LC-40P3000. I couldn't find any reviews online it is so new. The product description does not mention this TV comes with a built in media player for the USB port (video, pics, music). But remember its not a "smart" TV (NOT internet connected). - it appears to be made by Hisense based on the documentation. Sharp must have licensed or sold its name to Hisense - based on a number of hours of use using a Satellite receiver with PVR, it seems to put out a quite good bright sharp picture. So bright I turned the backlight control down somewhat (easily done in menus). - ease of setup and use quick good, 3 hdmi instead of the typical 2 is a bonus. - tried out the picture and video media player components. Both worked. But the user interface where file and directory names were listed each under its own huge icon was annoying in that it only showed the first say 8 characters of the file name and only when you hovered over it did the file name start scrolling to show the rest of the file name. Nor does it display the files / directories alphabetically. So if you a complete (out of order) say TV series on your USB stick using typically file naming (example)"Dark Matter S(eason) #, E(pisode) n . file_extension, you have to hover over each file to try to find the season and episode you want. Not so much fun with 20 + files. I am hoping for a firmware update that improves that user interface. - be aware you will need a table top of at least 32" wide due to the legs. - just hope it lasts a long time.
