Great vacuum

Love a good robot vacuum. This product gives me a peace of mind knowing my floors will be clean. The app is easy to use and the vacuum navigates thru home well. Battery lasts a long time!

Gets stuck

My husband uses the app on his one to use it when we are not home. It’s rather loud. It get stuck easily. It does help with every day dust and dog fur. My husband did not have any issues setting it up.

This robot vacuum is a solid choice for everyday cleaning, especially for busy households. Setup was very simple and the wifi app makes it convenient to start, stop and schedule cleanings from anywhere. It does a good job picking up hairs, dust and crumps on hard floors and low pile carpets. Slim design. Battery life is decent for small to medium spaces. Overall performance is reliable. A good value product.

This robot vacuum is a huge time-saver and does a great job picking up dust, dirt, and pet hair on both carpet and hard floors. Setup with Wi-Fi was simple, and the app makes it easy to schedule cleanings. It navigates around furniture well and does a solid job along edges, though it can occasionally miss tight corners. Battery life is good, and it returns to the dock on its own. Overall, a convenient and reliable cleaning helper.

Q: Question regarding Shark® RV871C Robotic Vacuum: sounds like it learns about obstacles after a few uses. I have a 2 story house, will it mess it up if it's taken to another floor of the house?

  • A: We would like to let you know that the Shark RV871C Robotic Vacuum does have Auto-Sense™ Navigation which allows the robot to navigate around obstacles and away from stairs and ledges. Moving the Robot to another level in your home will not effect it.

With this being said, to maintain optimal performance we recommend pairing the robot with the Shark App to receive regular updates to the robot and the app. We hope this information helps. Q: How far does the vacuum work away from the dock?

  • A: Hello, We are happy to assist you with your inquiry regarding the Shark® RV871C Robotic Vacuum. The robot will run for approximately 60 minutes before it returns to the charging dock to charge. It is designed with Auto Sense Navigation so it can navigate around obstructions as it cleans your floors. By using an array of sensors, the Shark ION Robot will steer itself around your home, using walls and objects as its guide and gently bumping them. This method allows the robot to travel in and out of rooms and around obstacles. The robot might not hit every area in one cleaning, but by scheduling daily cleanings, the robot's cleaning path will vary as needed to ensure the entire floor is cleaned.
