Pretty powerful Smart vacuum robot

This is a great hands free robot vacuum! The suction and XL dirt trap allow for fast and efficient cleaning. The battery lasts 3-4 hours and that’s perfect amount of time I need for it to get all the messes it can reach. It navigates based off your own selection and I love that! It’s a quiet vacuum that gets the job done right! So far I have had zero issues with this device.

Good midweek touch up cleaner

I have had this for a couple of years now. The shark ion is a great midweek touchup vacuum. It does a great job on hardwood floors but not great on low area rugs - it doesn’t pick up well on these. The noise level is noisy but I set it to operate while I am at work. I never had a problem with the battery life and cleaning the dust bin and roller is easy.

The Shark ION R87 with Wi-Fi is like having a quiet little butler gliding through the house. It connects easily to the app, listens better than most people I know (😉), and vacuums with precision. I love how it docks itself like a pro when it's tired and charges up without a fuss. It gets into corners I would’ve ignored, and I can schedule cleanings right from my phone—even when I’m not home! Pet hair, crumbs, dust—gone. And it does it with such confidence. Definitely one of my favorite cleaning companions.

A: We would like to let you know that this Robot does not have the self-cleaning brushroll, however the brushroll can be removed for easier cleaning.

Q: Question regarding Shark® RV871C Robotic Vacuum: sounds like it learns about obstacles after a few uses. I have a 2 story house, will it mess it up if it's taken to another floor of the house?

A: We would like to let you know that the Shark RV871C Robotic Vacuum does have Auto-Sense™ Navigation which allows the robot to navigate around obstacles and away from stairs and ledges. Moving the Robot to another level in your home will not effect it.

A: Hello, We would like to inform you that you can use this robot without using the app. It has on-board buttons that can be used to control the vacuum. With this being said, to maintain optimal performance we recommend pairing the robot with the Shark App to receive regular updates to the robot and the app. We hope this information helps. A: Hello, We are happy to assist you with your inquiry regarding the Shark® RV871C Robotic Vacuum. The robot will run for approximately 60 minutes before it returns to the charging dock to charge. It is designed with Auto Sense Navigation so it can navigate around obstructions as it cleans your floors. By using an array of sensors, the Shark ION Robot will steer itself around your home, using walls and objects as its guide and gently bumping them. This method allows the robot to travel in and out of rooms and around obstacles. The robot might not hit every area in one cleaning, but by scheduling daily cleanings, the robot's cleaning path will vary as needed to ensure the entire floor is cleaned.
