This product is a replacement for a Shark Rocket vacuum purchased 5 years ago. I was very happy with that purchase. So when it needed to be replaced I was quite happy to go with another Shark Rocket. When it arrived I was somewhat disappointed in that there is no separate attachment for smooth floors. While the unit works wonderfully well, it lacks the ability to get into some of the smaller spaces that my original Rocket could because the separate smooth floor attachment. It was narrower than the motorized carpet attachment and could easily be manoeuvred into smaller spaces. It was one of the features I truly loved. So I'm quite disappointed that this attachment is no longer part of this product.
Is there a floor attachment that would fit this Rocket model. If so, what is the cost?

It is a grate choose, perfect worth every penny, i do recommend it , honestly in the beginning i was not sure if dose worth to buy because i so some low reviews but i compared the total number of buyers versus the reviews and decided to buy and it was a successful decision

I’ve only used the machine twice, and I started reviewing it before not realizing that it would be posted. I reviewed it for three stars.but the suction is very powerful. I definitely recommend being careful with small area rugs. The only issue that I would say I don’t like is it’s top heavy so you need to lean it against the wall or attach it to the Hook included for storage. It doesn’t stand upright due to the design, which is fine. You just have to be aware if that’s something you’re looking for this model cannot maintain that upright position on its own due to gravity. But otherwise there’s lots of different nozzles that I still have not used, but it appears to be very great for the value. I had a shark hand vacuum for years so I can attest to the quality of the product. It can just be a bit clumsy, which is common for stick vacs!

Good but hose broke

I really loved this vaccum, have had it for about 2 years. But I noticed the hose broke which is unfortunate. Otherwise it was good at cleaning my house and picking up my dog and cats hair.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: There is a pet hair and upholstery attachment you can use on stairs. It is NOT motorized. You can probably order the motorized part online.

A: I had a dyson 11 before I bought the Shark rocket. Yes its corded but itnis so much better. I also had a dyson v4 animal and also the v11 animal... but first let me tell you about my carpet where my dogs spent most of their sleeping time there... with the shark ... its unbelivable all the hair thats it pickup!! I wish i could show you. so yeah I wouldnt go back to dyson, super expensif, short battery life. And i dont know for other dyson's owner but my dyson would pick up all the dirt (like little pieces of rockfrom our boots or cat litter, as soon as would stop her and hang it on its wall devices, I would hear particles fall to the floor...

A: I wrap the cord around the vacuum, near the handle in such a way that that I can then store it. How it is meant to be stored. Being careful not to bend the cord sharply where it exits the vacuum.

A: the 300s do not have the dust away hard floor sweeper, if you don't want to use this vac in place of a broom buy a 300, walmart has a blue one. if you want to vacuum hard floors buy the 301 that CT has because the dust away attachment is awesome

A: When it is full it is really loud. You need to empty it regularly. Also, I found that when I vacuumed up some fine, powdery material, it sounded like a jet engine! Empty it frequently and rinse it as well, following enclosed instructions. Hope this helps!
