What a trash

This was my second fabric steamer. I used it only several times and that was it. I used only distilled water. It didn't work after a couple of months.

Great Product, makes my clothes look freshly ironed without the hassle of the board and piping hot iron.
NOTE --- Do not use regular tap water in this machine. It will calcify within, causing work to clean it out. Only use distilled water.

Never again Shark customer

This professional fabric cleaner is the biggest hunk of garbage. I used it intermittently, and a couple months after warranty had expired, the steam just won't work any more.
Went to Shark website, and saw 5 year warranty on their products page. Not true, I know, they were misleading. I call and find out, there is 1 year limited warranty.
I also bought another hand steamer in the past. It also broke, and it became dangerous as the handle would overheat to the point it'll burn and hot water would leak.
Never again, I will not buy a shark product, they spend all their money making their products look nice but their quality is amongst the poorest I have ever seen across the board with all products.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I purchased this in early Dec 2016. It is now not heating up. May 2017. The red light comes on but does not steam. I used a rust/lime remover and still not working. I reviewed on line how to get it working and it is impossible to tear it apart to fix it.
I used a Conair Fabric Steamer for 8 years almost daily with no problems.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great while it lasts...

Had two of these. Great while they worked, but the first one died after about a year of occasional use. Thinking it might have just been a dud, I bought another one and it died after less than 8 months of using it maybe once every 2 weeks...Would not recommend.

A: I dont think it would work great if you want to clean it. This steamer is awesome to remove wrinkles. I dont think it can replace the dry cleaning.

Q: First time I used it, the water leaked out the tank from somewhere. Tried 2x more filling after installing tank as instructed. Any ideas? Thank you.
