Exercise in Frustration

I received this vacuum as a gift almost six months ago. Initially I was really pleased as I loved that it was cordless and it seemed to have great suction with the floor head and I liked the wall suction feature. Over time the fuzzy strip on the floor head is almost impossible to keep even somewhat clean. The suction with the main wand is terrible and the opening is not angled properly to pick up dirt along the baseboard or anywhere the head misses. Plus the head is finicky about how it moves over carpet pile. It prefers only one direction and resists going from the opposite way. The price on this vacuum isn't that much cheaper that the other higher end cordless vacuum brands and so one would expect comparable innovation and functionality. Using it is a continual exercise in frustration and I vacuum on an almost daily basis. Overall, this is a huge disappointment. I liked my previous shark upright except for the fact that the cord was really short. I've also had the handheld shark vacuum stop working for no apparent reason.

Long Hair? No problem!

So far I’m loving our new Shark PowerDetect™ Cordless Vacuum Clean & Empty System. We have a French Bulldog who sheds like crazy, and 3 long haired people in our house. This vacuum powers through all the hair, and it doesn’t get bound up on the roller at all! No more picking clumps of hair out of our old canister vac! The self emptying feature is very handy.

I have not been a fan of this since the day I took it out of the box. This is my first shark fail. Suction isn’t great in fact it’s less than my cheap Amazon stick vac. The auto turn onto auto sense I hate which there was a separate button not under my finger where I often hit by mistake. Overall I really don’t like the design at all

Terrible vacuum.

Terrible vacuum. The low settings don't suck anything up and the high setting automatically shuts the thing off (some sort of protection setting). I've cleaned the filters multiple times (supposed to help keep the motor cool) but as soon as I start to clean the floors, the filters get dirty and the thing shuts off again. So frustrating!!!

Crap vaccum not happy

Crap, does not pick up much, keeps breaking down. Top of range I bought. Rollers rattle and stops all the time. Wish to god Inever bought it. Cant find where to go.in Qld for repair. Hate this vaccum cleaner!
