    lame excuse for vacume and mop

    I got this a few days ago and when it has the mopping pad attached it will clean the first area 5 ft arround the base approx 15 times and then go to base, the app will display finished so I called support and they said rediscover the area, this takes me about an hour setting up no go zones and carpet, support said that they would call me back and walk me through it, but they could not be bothered! If without the mop pad on it will vacume the whole area and not wet my carpets

    Do not buy unless you want to replace the spring and latch that locks the reservoir into the unit. If you aren't careful the mopping pad tray will also break at the blue release levers. Lasted 1 month and started having these issues. Very common based on multiple people trying to find replacement parts but... they are all out of stock. Have always liked Shark but the quality of the unit is just not worth it. Hopefully the issue doesn't run to their other units...

    Stopped working after less than a year even though it was lightly used. I have worked as a professional equipment repair tech so there was no lack of care or understanding. Extremely expensive paperweight and no recourse.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    Cheaply made, bad engineering

    I had this vacuum/mop for less than a month and it broke, then they replaced it and I used the second vacuum and it broke on the 3rd day. The plastic grey piece that snaps the reservoir to the vacuum keeps breaking. The spring is way too strong and the grey plastic button is way too thin. Same problem with different vacuums. Poorly made. This is now my 3rd attempt to try out the vacuum to see if it’ll work or break again…

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    • A: No, the Matrix Plus 2‑in‑1 does not change its size or make itself smaller to fit under furniture. It will navigate around furniture or go under it as long as the space is tall enough for the robot’s full height.
