Hello, I am the owner of a Shark IW1120C vacuum cleaner, officially purchased in Canada. Unfortunately, I am facing a very disappointing situation: the charging plug on the power adapter broke, and I am now unable to use the vacuum cleaner. The most frustrating part is that the Canadian Shark website does not offer any replacement parts or accessories for this model at all, including the original charger. This is especially unacceptable given that this product is officially sold on the Canadian market. As a result, a relatively minor failure of a consumable accessory has rendered an otherwise expensive and functional device completely unusable. This level of post-sale support seriously undermines trust in the Shark brand and gives the impression that Canadian customers are left without any real support after purchase. I expected an international brand to provide at least basic service and spare parts support in every country where its products are sold. In reality, this is clearly not the case. I sincerely hope Shark will reconsider its support policy in Canada and ensure proper availability of replacement parts for models sold here.

I am using it for a month, shark detect pro is really doing good with carpet, and it picks the dust from hardwood floors as expected. Nice product to buy.

Highly recommend purchasing a different model. I had a shark for years leading up to needing a new one, so I figured I would stick with the same brand. This looked like a good option but is truly useless. You’re better off with a broom and dust pan.
