Il manquais des joint torique ça à inondé le moteur et même si il a passer l'hiver à l'intérieur il était complètement saisi ce printemps J'aie voulu m'arranger mais impossible de trouver des pièces de rechange nul part

Shakespeare Trolling Motor

We had no problems setting up and installing the trolling motor to the boat. The motor had good power and thrust and the battery metre is a great feature. First one broke, second is great

Out of the box only ran 3 forward speeds and 1 reverse (they commonly barely run brand new). Got a new one Feb/2015. I fish heavily, it's a reliable unit. Much cheaper than MinnKota (about $100 in box brand new on boxing day for 32lb). After a long day fishing, nuts tend to loosen, keep an eye on it.

Nice and quite

I've purchased the Shakespeare this summer and I love it. It runs smooth and enjoy the fact that I can see when the battery is getting low. Easy to use and very practical for the woman who likes to go fishing and not having to crank a gas motor. lol

Q: Does anyone have an economical battery recommendation? I would need to run this motor for about 2 hours between charges.

A: I use a Nautilus Starting and Deep cycle battery 24 group. Can be picked up for around $100. You will get 2+ hours of use from it if your not trolling full speed constantly. I would recommend using an automatic charger if your not experience like I am.
