Great entry level scooter for a 10-12 year old.

Bought for 11 year old on his birthday. Chose this one over the lite because it has a bit more power, but the top speed is still limited to 16km/hr. The scooter looks and feels more premium, and so far he has had a blast riding it. The rainbow lights are a fun added feature. Some comparable entry models still rely on a foot brake which may be fine, but we thought having a true hand brake was a safer setup and worth the extra cost. My only real complaint is the user manual is not very good. The translations are okay but don’t completely explain the modes or how to use them. We ended up googling how to use it. For instance it doesn’t just move by itself, you have to push it to get it going.. which the manual tries to explain but poorly. The manual also doesn’t really explain the different modes, or it it does I couldn’t find it between the 4 different manuals it comes with. The manual also includes the instructions for the Pro version, which I kind of get to save money, but makes it even more convoluted to try and read. It has eco mode with sort of a low and high speed depending on how fast you push it. This mode also doesn’t not use the throttle, it’s like semi automatic. D mode is normal throttle driven mode. S mode is sport, which he hasn’t tried yet until he’s more comfortable. The scooter is a bit heavy to carry at just over 23 pounds, so a 10-12 year old can carry it for a bit, but the recommended 6-12 range.. don’t expect your 6 year old to be able to haul it around. Says it can go up to 11km on a charge and hold up to 110lbs. We haven’t maxed it out yet. I don’t think they make this version anymore, they only list the lite and pro versions now. So if you can find one of these still might be a good purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves this scooter! She rides it everyday. So far no issues and it was so easy to put together and charge. I would recommend this scooter. She is a tall 9 yr old and has no issues with riding it.
