    does not fit on negative posts

    i had to use post shims and they work themselves loose, so dont use this on the smaller negative post, too bad they dont make one with the smaller diameter required

    Hi, Eddy. The E2 battery terminal has a universal design which should work on both positive and negative terminals. We offer a bolt that aids in tightening the terminal to the post. If the negative battery post is significantly smaller you can also acquire a battery post shim which will increase the post diameter for a more secure fit.     Hex, hex, hex keys!

    Bought this to replace the cracked positive terminal on my wife's vehicle. Product worked great, however two warnings. 1) the clear plastic cover seems to be a cheap acrylic and I have no doubt it will crack the first time I need to remove it this winter to throw a battery maintainer on there. 2) This terminal block uses nothing but hex/allen keys (not included) to secure the leads and the post clamp. Not only that, they are all different sizes. If I recall correctly, you'll need 3, 4 & 5mm keys to install! The post clamp really should be the standard 7/16 or 10mm. I'll have to be sure to throw some hex keys in the glove box.
