This sub box is extremely easy to put together and a great value for the money. It’s well built and looks nicely finished when assembled. Only about a dozen predrilled screws. Definitely recommend!

Q: Can you attach an amp onto the enclosure?

A: Although it is technically possible to mount an amplifier to the exterior of a subwoofer enclosure I would not recommend it. The first issue is noise. The constant low frequency vibrations from the subwoofer would cause the metal housing of the amplifier to buzz. The louder the music the greater this noise would become. Second these constant vibrations could cause the amplifier circuitry to become loose and eventually disconnected. In this event the amplifier would fail. Some recommended amplifier installation locations are under the passenger seat or a secure place in the trunk such as a sidewall or under the rear deck.
