Q: the product mentioned below... is only for the one side... i have french double front entry door.. where can i buy of find the dummy set not sure if its possible... but i want a keypad lock for my front door... have double entry doors... where do i find the dummy set to the product or does it come with ?

A: There is no dummy version of this lock, but you can purchase a handle, called an accent lever, in the same color to use on the other door. It would match the lever on this lock.

Q: Door Holes I have probably a stupid question. We just bought a new door. It has two pre-drilled holes for the locksets. Will this cover both holes? Generally, the deadbolt goes in the top and a knob on the lower hole. Thanks

A: This lock will not cover both holes at the same time. You can purchase a deadbolt version with a matching handle to make use of the predrilled holes.

A: Unfortunately not, the FE595 will automatically relock after 5 seconds. However, you an always rotate the interior thumbturn to the vertical position, putting the FE595 in the unlocked position. Q: When the door is locked, can someone on the inside turn the handle and go outside without unlocking the door? I want to know if my child would be locked in or he could get out at anytime

Q: What is is the lowest temperature this lock has been tested in? Will it perform properly during cold, icy Canadian winters?

A: The deadbolt is tested and approved at below -35 degrees Celsius. However, it is the 9v battery the most important in it. As it is close to the door through the opening of the lock/latch, the battery might freeze at -20 degrees and below. Very important to have good battery in the winter and non-lithium is better.

A: The batteries can be changed easily by removing the back cover with a Philips screwdriver. The battery needed is a 9 volt and will last up to two years.
