Q: I have a Scepter gas can with a Scepter spout #028-3060-4. It leaks from the base of the pour spout. Does this product #028-3068-8 have a gasket inside the large black cap? If so, would that would fix the leak problem? Can I buy just a new gasket?

A: Hi Ross - The gasket resides on the flange of the spout not in the Black cap. It is the combination of the Scepter spout (with gasket), stopper and black cap that provide the seal at the large opening. The spouts are sold separately as item #028-3060-4.
