Bulging, no overflow spout

I purchased two of these and as soon as they were full the bottom decorative rectangle above the spigot bulged out on both. Also there is no overflow spigot of hole it just overflows out the top. Not worth the price or hassle

The spout takes work to set it right so it will seal properly and not leak . Other then that the barrel looks nice and sturdy holds a lot of water and when it’s elevated water flows great .

Please Do Not Buy This Rain Barrel!

We were so excited when we purchased this decorative rain barrel. We chose this particular one because it was the only one left in stock. That should have been our first sign! Diverting water into the rain barrel was challenging but we finally managed to find a solution. Much to our disappointment, on the very first fill it leaked from various spots and we lost over half of our collection. Draining the remaining water out of the barrel was a painfully slow process. I are looking forward to returning this item to the store today and finding an alternative solution. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I do not recommend this product.

We bought 2 of these just over a year ago. (Of course the warranty has just expired.) As has already been stated, they bulge unattractively when full. Now, one of ours has cracked half way up the barrel. Just another piece of useless plastic junk that’s headed for the landfill. Do not buy!

Looks nice, but not the best.

I love the looks of this rain barrel, and the planter top is a nice feature. However, it is made of very thin plastic, and when it's even half full, it starts to bulge. Then all of those nice looking squares are pushed way out of shape, and it really doesn't look that nice anymore! I am worried that in a very short time, it will start to crack! I wouldn't buy them again...very disappointed.

A: a diverter kit hooked to your downspout would send excess water down the spout when the barrel is full
