Decent quality, easy to put together.

The back panel on ours arrived damage (Can Tire's fault, not Sauders), so we went without it, and honestly, I like it better. Easy to put together, decent quality for the price (we got it on sale), and looks better than expected.

nice structure but better in white

I have a very small bathroom (6ft x5ft) in Toronto and wanted to hide all the cleaning products and organize extra towels. This shelf definitely does the job but with small bathrooms white is best. Saunders only seems to have this specific shelf in compressed/fake wood. I got this specific shelf because it was the most open of all the shelves at CT with a square base and could hold towels but I think that a white version would have been much better. I also got an over-the-toilet shelf which cleared up the bathroom too.

Q: is this shelf made of solid wood or a particle board material?

A: pressed wood, the backing is cardboard with a printout of wood grain. i chose not to use the cardboard backing as this made the shelf seem darker inside or on shelving.
