The desk parts are well-built and go together easily. I do not, however, like the way the top fastens as it is anchored to the upright pieces, but if you attempt to move it by grasping just the top, it will lift off.

Poor quality even for pressed board furniture

Very poor quality. The pressed board is quite loosely pressed so hardware doesn’t fit together securely.

This is the perfect desk for what we wanted but the person putting it together needs to be good at putting puzzles together. I followed all instructions but there were two pieces labeled wrong. Would still buy it again

Q: Is there a flip down door for keyboard and mouse on this model. I see other Sauder desks with the flip down door for the keyboard and mouse. Really like this desk but need a place for the keyboard and mouse

A: The drawer pulls out for the keyboard and the outer edge of the draw flips down to create a flat surface. The desk is well designed for use. Be prepared for a lengthy set up. Took me about 8 hours to complete.

A: The instructions are very clear but it is about a 2 hour job. I suggest calling the store and ask if they can assemble it.

A: No, it's usual height for a desk. Mine stands 29 3/4 inches from the floor.

Q: We looked at this item today, and are considering purchasing it. Before we do, could you advise the weight of this item including packaging? Reason for the question is that we're a bit older, and while in good physical shape, we still need to get this item up to the second storey of our home.

Q: Can I use the desk without the flip down part that reveals the keyboard/mouse tray or are there mechanical parts that would still be exposed? I don't want the extra piece of wood in the way of my wrists.

A: While the drawer front provides no necessary structural support for the desk, without it being installed you will see holes through which the hinges are meant to attach through.
