    I can now bring our family bikes anywhere!

    Easy set up. I bought this for the main purpose of transporting me and my daughter's bikes on my small hatchback car. Only tested it for a short distance. Please note that if you have a "female" bike, it's recommended that you get an adapter bar so that it'll be easier placing the bike on this rack. While driving, the the upper part of the rack doesn't contact the hatchback's glass window - so most of the weight is on the bottom half of the rack. Not sure if this would be sustainable if I were to drive longer and faster e.g. on a highway. Little nervous to try it, as I wouldn't want the bikes falling off the rack to cause a traffic accident. Would love to know if anyone has tried this (and created a video).

    Q: is it recommended to install on my mazda 3 hatchback? how safe is it to have the two upper legs sitting on the hatchback glass while driving thru the bumpy dirt roads?

    • A: This trunk bike carrier is only compatible on the 2004 - 2013 generation Mazda 3 Hatchback. Please note, it does not fit with the spoiler option. Ensure to place the lower rack feet on the bumper, and do not open the trunk with the rack installed. Feet on the glass is generally fine. Most of the weight is on the lower legs/feet. “Off Road” use is not approved. However gravel/dirt roads are ok.
