Terrible

Total garbage. They've all snapped. Probably sitting on the shelves at the store too long and rotted. Waste of money.

Adhesive strength not there.

If pulled tight it will pull off. I had both of these installed for a combined 5 minutes before I threw them out and went with a different option.

I'm returning the product..

I could not for the life of me get the "permanent" clip to close over the strap, meaning it was literally useless. It is most certainly NOT a permanent closure as said on the package, it popped open every single time I tested it after it was fully closed over the strap and installed. Adhesive also came off fairly quickly and without problem because it was only on the door for about 30 seconds before I ripped it off in frustration. I originally bought it to deter myself from trying to leave the house while sleepwalking (without it being an actual lock, for fire safety reasons. I'll now be investing in door alarms.), but I don't think this would even deter a toddler from the fridge—so back go the store it goes…. one set stuck to the outside of the package with the adhesive, the edges covered in plier marks from me trying to actually hear a click and get it to stay securely closed. It only clicks securely closed with the strap not actually inside it (which I didn't try until I already decided to return it because i didn't want to ruin it). I was also sure to fit the groves together as per the instructions, it simply didn't fit. You also CAN open the clip with a butter knife even when it IS "securely closed"

I would get this lock again and again

This lock is very easy to install. The lock keeps children out of cupboards they don't need to be in. The only thing you need to make sure of is to install NOT super tight or you will have trouble getting the lock unlatched.
