A: I know woodworm is killed with permethrin. Safer’s is a compound made with an organic insecticide called Pyrethrin. I’m not sure if it is effective against wormwood but I would want to use an organic insecticide as opposed to a manufactured chemical.

A: It hasn’t been my experience. I got this to get rid of caterpillars Safer’s BTK Biological insecticide concentrate. I got it at a garden centre. Hope that is helpful

Q: Would this work on symphylans? I have cats but they leave my plants alone usually, is it safe for pets?

A: This product should work on syphylans although I have never encountered them in my garden. As far as being safe around cats your best bet is to let the plants you spray dry off, haldfan hour or so. The product has no chemical toxins but letting plants dry before pets are around is always the best bet.
