Good for kill carpets beetle but not ants

I purchased this product a month ago, hoping it would help with the ant problem around my garden and the corners of my house. Unfortunately, it hasn’t had any effect on the ants—they’re still running around without any issue. On the bright side, it works surprisingly well on carpet beetles! A bit of a funny outcome. I wouldn’t recommend it as an ant killer, but it does have its uses.

A: This is more of a long acting preventative. Best to use after proper type of removal for particular creature. It works by slowly desiccating insects/larvae. I’m in a townhouse - no insect issues - and I like it that way. This is in all my baseboard cracks crevasses cupboards and closets. Bird, dog & fish safe

Q: Can I use this to treat a flea infestation on my vegetable plants (groundcherry and aragula)? Is it considered food grade?

Q: Why does it say in the description that the Primary Ingredient is Pyrethrins when it clearly says on the bottle ACTIVE INGREDIENT: SILICON DIOXIDE....80% (Present as 100% DIATOMACEOUS EARTH) ????

A: This product should be left in place as long as possible, it will continue to kill insects that come in contact with it within 24-48 hours.
