Nice short loop serrated steak knives

They are good steak and meal knives. They are serrated so they're not as good for raw meats as a good straight blade. Can also be used as utility knife and tomato knife. I've been looking for a set with the shorter loops on the serration. They're tough to find and this is a nice set, especially for the sale price.
They are best added to a good set of straight blade knives. I wouldn't recommend them as your only knives.
The box wasn't dried properly and there was sap I had to scrub off the blade. Needless to say I don't store them in the box.
I've only had them a short time so can't comment on durability, but most knives last well if they're cared for properly.

Nice thick steel, great balance, perfect handle size and the serrated blade is super sharp so you do not need any force to cut.

I love these knives. They work really well. We do not put them in the dishwasher the we store them in the box. We only use them for steak. They are incredible.

A: The reference to German is in reference to the type/quality of steel used, nothing to do with the French company or brand.
