Pretty decent spray paint. Stays pretty well but sometimes doesn't adhere properly.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 6 of 6 Questions

Q: Is this product can be use for pavement marking? Is it good in parking lane markings?

    1 Answer
    • A: Universal paint isn’t formulated for asphalt. I would suggest using 048 0623 JOBLINER RED/ORG AC instead.

Q: Spraying around Shock Holders? Can I hit nearby rubber when I'm spraying and not have the spray harm the rubber?

    1 Answer
    • A: If possible, areas where the paint might come into contact with rubber should be taped off with painter's tape. The painter's tape can be removed immediately after paint application. Because rubber is often made up of several different components, it would be best for the rubber, and a solvent-based paint like Universal not to come in contact.

Q: Do you know if it is okay to use Rustoleum paint on a rusted bath tub? The tub has faded. I don't have an image.

    1 Answer
    • A: Because our paints are not suitable for full-water immersion, we do not recommend them for bathtubs, laundry basins, or shower stalls. An epoxy or marine grade paint would be required to refinish a bathtub, and unfortunately these products are not available at Canadian Tire at this time.

Q: Rusty Metal Primer? I cant find Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer anywhere, I was wondering if this would work the same for protecting my truck frame after a light sanding to get rid of major rust.

    1 Answer
    • A: The Rusty Metal primer is currently available only through U.S retailers. You could consider the Tremclad primers as an alternative.
