Worst experience ever

First of all you should know that the coverage is not even close to the advertised one I had to use double the quantity, the work to apply was terrible....please take the reviews in consideration I read them and I ignore them.. Big mistake.. and after all that it only lasted on my deck 7 months... Looks worst that before applying the product...

Horrible

I bought this in September after people raved about it. I did exactly as it said, applying 2 coats to my front doorstep. So, now that winter is over, my doorstep looks horrible. This paint has scraped up, peeled off and has big hunks missing. Because of the thick pattern, I have no choice but to buy more to try to cover or rent a pressure washer and see if it comes off. I give this zero stars. A total waste of money and my time and effort.

Would not recommend this product, Messy to roll on, hard to work with. Bought on sale, glad I did not pay full price. Should have use regular stain.

Solid Stain is a better alternative

This product is 10X thicker than typical paint or solid stain and covers 1/10 of what the typical paint or stain will - means you need to buy 10X what you would normaly apply. I thought it looked like it would cover well and hide some of the minor imperfections in my deck surface. It is difficut to apply evenly - the roller spatters the paint all over so make sure everything is covered or you will have paint dots on walls and all over you. You will definitely need 2 coats so make sure you buy enough. Hope it lasts for 30 years, cause that would be 10X what I get from a premium stain (doubt it will!). Stay away from this product!
