Love this paint! It applies nicely and sticks to smoother surfaces great. I've used it on a table, a dresser, and some bathroom cabinets now, and they've all held up great. I did give all those surfaces a light sand first, and sealed them with a wax finish, but the table has been going strong with no signs of wear for over a year, and the cabinets for about six months. Also very impressed with the coverage. One pint was enough to do the whole table (including a leaf) and 4 cabinets.

A: Hi Baxter, Great question! You can use our Chalked Protective Top Coat to finish your kitchen table and chairs. We recommend allowing your Chalked paint application to dry for at least a week before finishing it with the top coat. Apply one to two even coats, allowing at least 2 hours of drying before recoating.

A: I used this to redo my entire queen sized bedroom set. Bed, dresser, two end tables, and and armoire. I used two cans and got two coats on everything.

A: Hi Paint, When painting children's cribs, our recommendation is to leave items in a well ventilated area for one week after painting. This allows for the most complete curing as well as maximum coating hardness. As with any coating product, such as our Rust-Oleum Chalked Interior Paint, care should be taken to ensure that accidental ingestion does not occur.
