Great material

This is a cute and very functional trash can. Lightweight and durable. Lid is easy to open and close. However yes the lid does make a noise but nothing too crazy. Easy to maintain and clean. This is a good trash bin.

This a clasic rectangular swing top trash
This is a 13 gallons capacity , durable plastic ,
Thats a perfect size and the material is very strong. And the weight is ok is mot heavy

We use these in our Air BNBs and…. They work most of the time. I feel the plastic is a little light.
Standard trash bags fit fine.
What I don’t like is they are hard to clean and stain. The tops come off, the way they flip allows slobs who throw stuff into them to miss and the garbage slides down the back outside.
They are ugly.

Q: Question wasn't answered. Can we buy replacement lids? We called for warranty service and were denied because we don't have the receipt. Who keeps the receipt for garbage cans? We paid more for Rubbermaid and expected both cans to last more than 3 months.

Q: What is the type of plastic? What is the type of plastic used to make this bin. I also want to know if has a temperature withstanding rating.

A: Rubbermaid Refuse Cans are made of PP - Polypropylene. The symbols are molded into the base and inside the lids. As for temperature ratings, they are not tested for anything other than garbage use.
