Great bins but terrible stock situation

This rating has nothing to do with the Rubbermaid container itself. We have close to 50 of these of various sizes and we love them. They are sturdy, strong and very useful . The three stars is for our Canadian Tire store - these are one of the most popular brands of bins, and on three separate occasions now, we have gone into the store specifically for the tall bins, and the shelf has been empty, even though the app says there are 40 some in stock. And when you ask for an associate to bring more, they tell you the bins are “buried” in the back and will be 20 mins to get them. Do better Canadian Tire.

Q: I am taking this on an aircraft in Fragile. Will the construction be sturdy enough? Lightweight larger items inside only. How does the lid latch? Is it secure enough that it will not fall off the box?

A: They are more flexible than they were years ago. The lids pop off quite easily. If you are looking for sturdy I’d get the stacking garage totes with the zip tie holes to secure the lid instead. Or drill your own holes and zip tie the rubbermaid lid on

A: It holds 68 liters. G How much does 68 liters of water weigh? An adult can stand 8n it if it is on the ground without it cracking.
