This 15W-40 motor oil uses advanced additive technology to protect under the most severe engine conditions found in modern, low-emission engines and older hard-working diesel engines.   • A: Hello DieselMike2, The Shell Rotella T Triple Protection is not formulated for the VW 505 00 specification. The Pennzoil Platinum Euro 0w-40,5w-40 and 5w-30 all meet the VW 505 00 specification.

  • A: this oil would work in your car although being a new engine with factory clearances, the oil pressure might be a little too high on a cold start. Otherwise an excellent oil.

  • A: Hello Ohmy, No this material is not suitable for this application. For a Case David Brown the recommendation for the transmission is Spirax S4 TXM.

  • A: Hi Matt, thank you for your question. The Shell Rotella T4 15W40 is compatible with the 2013 RAM 2500 Cummins. We are currently experiencing issues with the Oil Vehicle Fitment tool and we are actively working to get this error fixed.
