Royal Purple® Max-Atomizer™ is a highly concentrated, high performance fuel injector cleaner. It is specially formulated to solve problems with today’s direct injection engines, but can be used with any type of fuel injection. Max-Atomizer contains highly concentrated polyether amine (PEA) detergents that quickly clean clogged and coked injectors to restore maximum injector flow. This optimizes injector spray patterns and better atomizes fuel as it enters the combustion chamber. The result is improved fuel economy, enhanced power and performance, reduced emissions, smoother idle, and quicker / easier starts. Max-Atomizer is the only fuel injector cleaner that also stabilizes ethanol, which chemically breaks down to cause harmful effects to an engine.

Great for my 2019 Kia soul base model

I have been using Royal Purple oil in my Kia soul for a couple of years now with a good filter. Our other car, a Mazda 2 has always had a clean tail pipe. My Kia has not and always had a sooted black tail pipe. The gdi engine on my Kia soul carbons up and is known to have problems. Regular oil changes are a must along with good top tier gas. After doing research on this engine I decided to try the Royal Purple fuel injector cleaner. I was surprised to see after just one bottle , my tail pipe was clearing up . I am sold on this brand of cleaner. I have just bought another RP cleaner and can see the results. Comparing RP to other brands makes me feel good that RP is one of the superior brands . It’s formulated to work with modern direct-injection engines — which includes most turbo engines — and is safe for gasoline engines with injectors and emissions hardware.

Q: How much PEA does it has?

  • A: Thanks for your inquiry, Terry24. Royal Purple Max Atomizer and all other Royal Purple fuel additive products, contain a Royal Purple exclusive and proprietary version of the PEA (polyetheramine) cleaning chemical. The Royal Purple version of the PEA cleaning chemical has a higher flash point than most other companies PEA versions. This enables the PEA to do more cleaning by staying in its active form longer, before it eventually burns off during normal combustion. Exact dosages of PEA in our fuel additive formulations are proprietary, however I can tell you that it is a very generous dose, and yet still completely safe for all the recommended applications when used at the recommended dosing levels.
