A: Roundup Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate can be used for spot treatment to kill individual weeds around trees and shrubs, and in flower gardens. However, this is a non-selective weed killer which can injure or kill most vegetation contacted including ornamental plants. Spray when the air is still and do not get spray on green parts of desirable plants.

A: Roundup will kill ANY vegetation. It is not selective. I would not use Roundup near food vegetables. You could also check on the internet for more information about the product.

A: Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup clings tightly to the soil. If you are going to use it in a vegetable garden, instead of just a flower bed, be sure to follow the directions very closely. The World Health Organization has declared glyphosate to be "probably carcinogenic in humans". Please make wise decisions when using non-selective herbicides and pesticides.
