Roto Molded Cooler, 50-L

THIS IS AN AWESOME COOLER. FREEZE YOUR FOOD ADD A COUPLE OF FROZEN 2 LITRE BOOTLES OF ICE AND MIX IN A FEW FROZEN WATER BOTTLES WHICH YOU CAN DRINK WHEN THAWED AND YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM GETTING 10 TO 12 DAYS OUT OF IT.PLUS WHEN ICE THAWS IT WILL STILL STAY COLD FOR A COUPLE OF MORE DAYS. JUST TAKES A TOUCH OF PLANNING

The anti-skid feet wore off in the first few months. No parts available for any of these. Rubber closing straps are starting to tear. Again, no parts available. If you are spending $250+ on a cooler you should be able to get replacement parts. Would not buy again.

This cooler was recommended by a friend and is very efficient. Howerver, the claim that it will resist oxydation is false. My cooler cover is already showing signs of oxydation after the first 2 months of use. I would not recommend it for boaters.

I bought the cooler when they first came out. There was only one in the store and had some scuffs on it but I bought it anyway and didn’t complain. I bought the cooler because of the size and by the claim it would keep items cold for 14 days. This is Not true. I pre-cooled the cooler the day before and all items were ice cold. I even re-froze the two included ice packs and added more of my own ice packs. I opened the cooler maybe three times in three days by then it was Luke warm inside. The outside temperature was not hot spring time temperatures. When I got back from my trip I try to return the cooler they would not take it back or give me a in-store credit. The customer service was rude about it and accuse me of scuffing it up when it was like that when I bought it. I didn’t get any discount on it and payed full price. On the plus side there is enough room in it to transport and entire deer wrapped up and frozen or chilled. You would have enough time to transport anywhere in BC before it thaws out. The only way you would have cold items 14 days later as if you had the cooler outside in the winter time.

We went on 48hrs camping trip with 4 large ice packs (from CT) and one bag of cube ice. All food items were pre-chilled, ice packs were 48hrs in the freezer. Cooler always stored in shade during the day and opened whenever we needed. We still had ice cubes and the ice packs were still frozen after 48hrs. Ice cubes froze on to the ice packs. I probably will get 4-5 days of a cold food cooler out of it.
