    Keep Warm

These are very good quality sleeping bags that are great for camping during the cold nights. However they say that they will work in -5 to -10 degrees, but I think it is best for nights over 0. They are large, but it is worth it for the warmth.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great Value

I have had several sleeping bags over the years, and I know the ratings on bags are often not quite correct. I have a bag that is rated -7'C and on a cool fall night found it cold. So I decided to buy the bag (2 of them for me and my girl friend) knowing that -5'C- -10'C should be good enough. I have yet to be cold in this bag. Girlfriend found it cool... pfff... women. (just kidding) When the 2 bags are zipped together there is a ton of room! My girlfriend is small (5'2" 105lbs) and I'd say I am average (5'10" 195lbs) are the bag felt huge! Needs compression sacks though! I might be able to fit these into my old sleeping bags compression sacks...

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good Product, No Stuff Sacks

I bought two of these on sale to zip together to make into a double. I found it odd that they didn't seem to be the same size, one was about an inch and a half longer than the other. Seems like a good product overall, however I was disappointed there were no stuff sacks included with the bags, just the zip up cover that encloses the box they come in. Ended up buying a large compression sack off Ebay to put both of these in. The pillows that come with are pretty useless for camping but would be good to take with on a plane flight.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good for Western pines too

This is a great quality sleeping bag, the zipper hasn't snagged once and the lining is very soft. Looks great, does what it’s supposed to and can be zipped together with another Eastern Pines sleeping bag to cozy up. It comes with a pillow but it’s about the size of a business card, so remember to pack a real pillow where space permits.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great Bag for the Money

FIRST OFF... there is not a sleeping bag in the world that lives up to it's climate rating!!!!!! Light clothing or an extra liner has to be worn in any sleeping bag in cold weather! When we look at reviewing a product we have to consider price and quality, does this bag give you value for the price? At $48 on sale I think so, it is a great value. Is the quality good? Absolutely!! this is an exceptionally well built bag that should last for years. The zippers are equal to any $200 bag. For the price you can't go wrong, I see no reason to not to recommend this product to anyone, even the avid camper!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: SO what does it mean when it says 4.5 pounds if it is really 8.8 pounds?

    1 Answer
    • A: The 4.5 lbs. relates to the amount of fiber fill that is put into this bag to give it the warmth factor it has. The 8.8 lbs. the total weight of the bag including the outer shell, lining, zippers carry bag etc. and the fill.
