Lasts for years

I purchased this tent well over 10 years ago and I'm happy to see they are still selling it, because it has held up over several camping trips and stormy nights. It is a breeze to setup and offers plenty of room for a family to sleep comfortably. The open air screened ceiling is a blessing on warm clear nights, and we are yet to experience any wet wakeups from a leak.

Big Enough for my Spouse

My spouse is one of those women that will pack 8 suitcases for 1-nights stay. This got frustrating in the earlier summers when our tent would fit her things and we were forced to squish. This 8-man tent fits my spouses abundance of things while giving me the freedom to sprawl out undisturbed. Great buy!

spacious, relatively easy to set up, but failed miserably in the rain. water leaked through the seams in numerous places on three sides. water also pooled on the groundsheet below the tent and then soaked through the floor. our air mattress was dripping when we lifted it off the floor and there were puddles up to 1/4" deep. the floor was wet in many places where water soaked through.

Perméable à l'eau

Mon conjoint et moi avons acheté cette tente dans le but d'avoir plus d'espace puisque nous avons un jeune enfant. L'espace est parfaite et la tente a beaucoup d'aération. Par contre, elle n'est pas du tout imperméable !!!!!! Après seulement 3 heures de pluie, il y avait de l'eau qui s'gouttait des 2 poches intérieures. Plus les heures passaient, et plus il y avait de l'eau dans la tente. L'eau provenait des coutures du bas de la tente et du sol. Nous devions absorber l'eau avec serviettes et même des couches pour bébé !!!!!! Après 16 heures de pluie, nous avons été obligé de plier bagages et de retourner à la maison au sec !! Nous avions réservé pour 1 semaine de camping mais nous sommes demeuré seulement 36 hres à cause de l'eau abondante présente dans la tente. Donc, je ne vous conseille pas cette tente.

A: The tent is 16' x 9' and is well over 6' in height. My husband (who is 6'1" was able to walk around the tent without crouching or hunching at all.

A: Instructions – 1. 3 roof poles - feed through sleeves and connect to hub 2. Assemble 6 poles to hub, pin out corners of tent 3. Assemble fly.

Q: How much does the tent weight? I am also considering the Coleman Weather Master 10 person.

A: This tent is about 28lbs. I was also considering the Coleman Weather Master, but was very happy with my decision because this tent has sooo many windows! 8 windows + 2 large doors, so it was relaly good ventilation.
