Looks great but breaks fast

I first liked this chair but then one handle broke and the fasteners holding the chair together broke. The problem is simple. The fasteners are too weak and the holders for the arm rests are two weak and the plastic brakes. Bottom line it looks great but it is not build to last.

Great camping chair with mesh bottom

I've had a few of these types of chairs, but what I especially like about the Roots camp chair, in addition to the nice thick padding and overall comfort, is the mesh bottom. If it drizzles, no pool in the seat area, and it dries fast; if it is hot, there is air circulation. I bought this item on sale, and it was a good deal for a higher-end camp chair that isn't flimsy like some others. A bit heavier because of it, but I really like it.

Q: Anybody tell me how tall the back is? I'm looking for one, but I'd like to be able to sit and rest my head on the backrest. Anybody know how tall that part of the chair is?

A: the size of the chairs is 37" high, width 34", seat height is 21" seat depth is 19" so to answer your question . . . the backrest is 16" This chair has a lumbar support system which made it so attractive to us.

Q: Is it possible to buy replacement pieces for the plastic section that is just under the seat that holds the top of the legs?

A: I have looked into your request for a replacement part for your Chair and because this product carries an exchange only warranty, replacement parts are not available for this particular item. I wish to advise however, that when you require replacement parts that are not available and you are within your warranty period, in this case 1 year from the date of purchase, I would recommend you return the item along with your sales receipt for an exchange. I am sorry for any inconvenience this situation may have caused.
