Helping my grandpa fixed a troubling catalyst/exhaust/02Sensor scenario with Engine light on. Especially with 05 Nissan trucks/SUV’s notorious for common engine light troubles. Registration is paid but smog needs to pass. Engine Light seems to trigger the same code all the time about catalyst after a few resets from an OBD and it still fails. We are avoiding high costs of diagnostics that sometimes all it needs is basic maintenance. So we bought the Rislone Fuel exhaust and Emissions systems cleaner and added to tank with 3/8 of fuel in the tank. After reset, we drove for a couple days totalling a little over 100 miles and the check engine light did not return. The next day we had it smogged checked, to our luck, it passed… While making this review, it has been 4 days since and engine light seems off. We know per instruction, it said to keep treatment up to three times a year. We will try to do that since the treatment solution is a temporary fix, we just hope it lasts awhile more to avoid expensive repairs. As far as satisfaction goes, we believe Rislone treatment works and our vehicle is good for another two years before next smog and registration.
