Useless product

Our opening is 34 inches wide, which means that this product is essentially useless for frames of that size. The product is too small without the extenders, and when added it’s too wide.

No, I do not recommend this product.

These gates are exactly what we needed to keep our little one out of the rooms he can't yet be in while still alowing the air to circulate instead of closing doors! I love the gate mechinisim for ease of access, and how quick they are to set up! We're using them just pressure fit so no screws in the walls either which is great! (if they were at the top of a staircase I would have permenently fixed them just for security, but for our needs pressure fit is great and they actually feel surprisingly sturdy!)

A: Depends on the intended use. To stop small pets, then top and bottom would be ok. If it's to stop a child, then I would say it would be fine for the bottom of the stairs but I wouldn't trust it for the top of the stairs. Hope this helps. Cheers!
