New Starter Installation

The car would not start and clearly required a starter based on diagnostics performed by AMA. Upon arrival we were advised of the cost of a new starter plus $175 to perform an inspection. An inspection of what? The problem was clear. We declined the "inspection" and told the advisor to install a new starter. It would have taken a qualified mechanic a couple of minutes to determine the problem. For $175. Really. At any rate the job was conducted successfully and a new starter was installed. If the "inspection" was refundable if the job was completed we would have had no issue. However, despite all this the 2 service advisors that we dealt with were patient and professional

Q: My car will not start. I just had the alternator replaced at Cdn Tire 2 weeks ago because of this and now I think it's the starter. Will this product work in my 2007 Acura CSX?
